Goal: Focus statewide efforts around the numerous long-term care elements of the health care legislation; provide support in clarifying the considerations and advancing decision-making around specific issues while promoting information dissemination to consumers regarding key provisions of the legislation; promote collaboration in pursuing available funding opportunities and creating a strategic and cost-effective direction for rebalancing the future of long-term care in South Carolina.

Long-Term Care Joint Resolution Introduced in SC Sentate

On February 16, 2011 the Long-term Care Joint Resolution developed by members of the ACA Implementation Initiative Long-term Care workgroup was introduced in the SC Senate.
